John Ballenger

John Ballenger is Guardian Jet’s Mountain Regional Sales Manager, where he is responsible for building client relationships and market share in Midwestern and western states, including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa.

Previously, John spent 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a CH-53E helicopter pilot. For the last five years, he served as a pilot of Marine One for both Presidents Trump and Biden, flying the VH-3D, VH-60N and VH-92A.

Prior to joining Guardian Jet, John was a partner with the commercial real estate firm Aspire Development Group, where he focused on commercial and residential projects in Oklahoma and Colorado. He was also a life and leadership coach and consultant in his own entrepreneurial venture. As a successful public speaker, John shared his numerous life experiences, including the devastating loss of his daughter, as well as his time in the military throughout several combat deployments. 

John earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Oral Roberts University (ORU), in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he now serves on the Alumni Board. He is also a member of the National Business Aviation Association. He holds a commercial single-engine fixed-wing and instrument rating as well as a commercial multi-engine helicopter and instrument rating.
