Rick Smith

As Vice President, Southeast U.S., Rick Smith is responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships across the region for Guardian Jet. With nearly 30 years of global aviation experience, Rick has built a career specializing in aircraft sales, acquisitions and leasing.

Before joining Guardian Jet, he served as vice president at Business Aircraft Leasing, Inc., where he represented clients in sales and acquisitions, including overseeing several helicopter completions.

Rick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is deeply committed to giving back and serves on the Board of Directors for Re-Vision Inc., a mission-focused organization working both domestically and internationally. He is also an active member of several industry organizations, including NNBAA, VAI, IADA, ABAA, CAPA, CFBAA, GBAA, GSLBAA and TnBAA.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his 12 grandchildren and tackling projects on his farm. Based in Middle Tennessee, he brings a blend of expertise, dedication and heart to his role at Guardian Jet.
