As sales director, Dan Gardner is responsible for developing and serving Guardian Jet's clients throughout New England and areas east of the Hudson River.
Based in Connecticut, he works with high-net-worth individuals, corporate flight departments and first-time buyers on aircraft acquisitions and sales, leveraging the firm's data and market insight to support informed decision-making.
Dan joined Guardian Jet as director of operations, where he helped support a record volume of aircraft transactions at the company. In that role, he worked across deal execution, contract administration, client communication and digital product development, helping transactions progress from engagement through closing.
Since transitioning into sales, Dan brings a practical understanding of how aircraft transactions are sourced, structured and executed. That operational experience continues to shape his approach to client service, combining strategic guidance with hands-on transaction support.
Before joining the firm, Dan spent four years at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in digital and analytics consulting. His time there helped develop the client-first approach he brings to aircraft sales today, with an emphasis on structured problem-solving, data-driven decision-making and aligning aviation decisions with a client's broader business or personal goals.
A graduate of Boston College with a bachelor's degree in economics, Dan holds certifications as a Scrum Master and Product Owner and is earning his private pilot certificate.
He is active with Aviators for Autism, an organization that supports individuals on the autism spectrum through aviation experiences. As part of that work, he hosts a monthly webinar series featuring guest speakers who help families navigate their autism journey.
