Director of IT and Data Science
Lenny Huntley is the Director of IT and Data Science for Guardian Jet. As a member of the leadership team, Lenny is instrumental in developing innovative technology solutions for the firm. He does so by improving existing processes using artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis and analytics. He is also responsible for improving the business through informed decision-making, predictive analytics, product development and continuous process improvement.
Previously, Lenny served as a senior software engineer at General Analysis in Norwalk, Connecticut. While there, he designed and developed manufacturing control software for the cola bottling industry. He also helped optimize operational processes, while demonstrating his ability to bridge technology with the firm’s business goals.
Lenny was also a senior software engineer in Norwalk at Mercedes Benz. In this systems engineer role, he helped design software that automated financial database creation, use and management, while maintaining corporate-wide quality and security requirements. He also worked for the Atlanta-based United Parcel Service as a software development engineer, implementing package sorting automation.
A lifelong learner, Lenny has also earned a number of Microsoft certifications in data science and solutions architecture as well as an A.I. certification from Stanford University. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University, in Marietta, Georgia, with a BS in civil engineering.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Lenny is a private pilot with an abiding passion for flying. His genuine love of aviation and his extensive technical expertise make him an ideal fit for Guardian Jet.
