Business aircraft brokerage and consulting firm Guardian Jet has returned to NBAA to roll out an improved version of the Vault software tool, which it says lets users more easily access essential information and helps "aircraft owners and operators to buy, sell, appraise, and track the value of their assets."

Vault 3.0 -- the third iteration of the seven-year-old tool -- adds a new design interfacte and functionality inlucing an advanced search engine known as JetFinder, which provides up-to-date informaiton on aircraft for sale.

"You can discover jets that meet your travel needs based on desired aircraft make, model, range and aircraft size," says Guardian Jet of the JetFinder engine.

Vault 3.0 also has an "aircraft brochure tool," which allows customers to review general facts and figures of a particular model, view current pricing, aircraft performance, cross sections and floor plans with dimensions as well as interior and exterior images.

"It's like a personalised, portable showroom," says Guardian Jet managing partner Mike Dwyer.

Vault 3.0 also offers a range comparison tool allowing customers to compare the range of up to three aircraft makes and models from a host of airports worldwide.

Dwyer calls the Vault "a transparent online aviation asset management portal." It is designed, he says, "to hlep clients quickly search for new or replacement aircraft and easily manage an aircraft just as they would any asset."
