GUILFORD, Conn. – December 6, 2022 – Guardian Jet LLC (guardianjet.com), the world’s largest business aviation brokerage, consulting and analytics firm, today announced the appointment of Marc Strange as the company’s Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Strange will be chiefly responsible for growing the company’s presence in its Africa and Middle East markets.
A career business aviation professional, Marc brings to his new position more than 15 years of aircraft sales experience, including having managed regional sales activities in Africa for a number of leading aircraft manufacturers.

Marc’s passion for aviation began very early in his life, and runs through his family history. Two prior generations of family aviators preceded him. By 2006, Marc had secured his first sales role, when he was appointed to manage the sales of the value-added product portfolio at National Airways Corporation (NAC), an approved reseller for Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. The portfolio included Raisbeck Engineering, Blackhawk Modifications and BLR Aerospace, for which NAC routinely was a top dealer around the globe. Marc was later hired by Blackhawk to establish an office in Africa, where he led the firm’s regional sales and marketing activities.
In 2011, Marc became the Sales Director for Absolute Aviation Group (AAG), which, at the time, was the new Beechcraft dealer for Sub-Saharan Africa. During his tenure, he leveraged his experience with Beechcraft and numerous related brands to grow AAG’s sales business in Africa, leading to his recognition as a leading sales rep for Beechcraft.
In 2014, Marc was hired into his first OEM sales position, when he served as Regional Sales Director for Embraer’s Executive Jets. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Marc was responsible for sales of the EEJ portfolio, from the Phenom 100 to the Lineage 1000.
After nearly four years with Embraer, Marc joined Gulfstream Aerospace as its Vice President of Sales—Africa. As the sole Gulfstream employee located in Africa, he managed Gulfstream’s new aircraft sales, marketing and existing relationships in the country, primarily focusing on transactions with high-net-worth individuals, governments and large corporations.
Just prior to joining Guardian Jet, Marc served as a Vice President of Sales for Stanton & Partners Aviation, where he was responsible for pre-owned sales in Africa.
