John Silvestro
Regional Sales Director
John Silvestro is Guardian Jet's SoCal and Arizona Sales Director. John has spent his life immersed in aviation, from the cockpits of military transports to the world of private jet charter.
Prior to joining Guardian Jet, John served as a pilot for Wheels Up, supporting clients nationwide with reliable, high-standard charter operations.
John is also the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Cider Mill Fund, which focuses primarily on digital assets and real estate ventures alongside his architect brothers.
John began his career in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a KC-130J Aircraft Commander, Section Lead, and Instructor Pilot, training the next generation of Marine Corps aviators and leading aircrews on operational missions around the world. He flew combat missions in support of operations in Afghanistan and was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon and three Air Medals for his service.
John is a graduate of Williams College. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and Multi-Engine Instructor certificate, with more than 2,000 hours of flight time, and continues his passion for flight as a volunteer pilot for Angel Flight West.
An avid golfer and sailor, he serves as a board member of Veteran Sailing, an organization that teaches veterans the joy of getting on the water.
