William Smith

William Smith is Sales Director for Guardian Jet’s Light Jets and Turboprops division. Based in Connecticut, he covers the mid-Atlantic region, including Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland and New Jersey.

Will joined Guardian Jet in 2021 as a member of the company’s inside sales team, where he managed aircraft sales inquiries and supported transactions from deposit through closing. Since 2023, he has directly supported more than 65 aircraft transactions across sales and acquisitions roles totaling more than $500 million in transaction value.

During his time at Guardian Jet, he also worked with the company’s market research team covering more than 120 aircraft markets. His experience includes aircraft valuation, pricing analysis, client communication and transaction support across a range of light jets and turboprops, including the Piper Matrix, Citation CJ series and Embraer Phenom models.

Before joining Guardian Jet, Will earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the National Business Aviation Association and the International Aircraft Dealers Association, where he earned his aircraft broker certification in 2023.
